The Nanny Agency,
Inc. is a private employment agency providing placement services
for families seeking full-time, part-time or temporary childcare in
the Bloomington/Normal area.We
recruit, screen and interview qualified applicants.We also verify references, conduct background checks and assist
families and nannies through the matching process.
The
Nanny Agency, Inc. was established in 1995. Since that time, we have
helped over 1500 families find full-time, part-time, temporary and
occasional childcare. We currently have over 40 working nannies and 120
sitters in our Sitters On Call service.

HISTORY
The agency was established by Tracy Lockenour in 1995. While working as a nanny, she discovered there was no agency in our area to help connect families and nannies. In fact, there is no other licensed agency between St. Louis and Chicago.
Tracy sold The Nanny Agency, Inc. to Julie Payne in
2000. Julie owned and operated The Nanny Agency, Inc.
until 2006 when she sold the business to Mike and Sarah
Masters. There are currently over 500 families using the agency's services and approximately
160 child care professionals associated with the agency.
Sitters On Call for occasional days, evenings, before and after school, weekends or emergency back-up child care.
Mike
and Sarah Masters Mike and Sarah have been married for over eight years. They have
two daughters, Emily and Katie. Sarah Received her
B.S. in Pharmacy from Drake University, and has been a Pharmacist for
Walgreens since 1994. She is an active member of P.E.O. and
recently served on Wesley United Methodist Church's Pastor Parish
Relations Committee.
Mike has both a B.S. in Business Administration and a Master of
Business Administration (MBA) from Illinois State University.
Mike started his career with Walgreens where he began as a service
clerk and ended as an executive assistant manager. He was with
Walgreens for over 10 years. Mike most recently worked for
Heartland Bank where he worked as a personal banker, branch manager,
and mortgage originator. Mike is active with several
organizations in town including Kiwanis, United Way, and Wesley United
Methodist Church.

The Nanny Agency, Inc. is licensed by the Illinois Department of Labor, staffed with licensed employment counselors, and is a member of the International Nanny Association and the McLean County Chamber of Commerce.
